“Money Moves” Financial Literacy Program helps participants build basic
financial skills. The purpose of this program is to teach children about
money management and investing through fun learning methods such
as games and interactive activities.

• The role of banks; and savings and checking accounts
• Buying and selling stocks
• The advantages of using a budget to manage income and
spending
• The basic process of making major purchases
• The basics and importance of insurance
• The difference between good and bad debt, principle and interest,
and how to calculate interest
• College Expenses and alternative ways to pay for college
“Start Em' Up” Business Program teaches students introductory to
business. Students will learn basic business concepts through playing
fun business games, starting a real class business, and making money.

• How to set business goals
• How to analyze your business competition
• Writing a business plan
• Determining start-up costs
• The difference between profit and loss
• The purpose of a receipt
• Completing an income statement
“The Survival Kit to the Real World” Career and Life Skills Program’s
purpose is to teach youth about the basics of how to present
themselves when seeking a job. Participants will also learn basic
etiquette skills.

• Basic etiquette skills for greeting others
• Basic Networking skills
• How to create a resume
• How to create a cover letter
• How to prepare for an interview
• How to answer interview questions
• How to complete a job and college application
“BEAUTY” Program which stands for Building Excellence, Ambition, and
Unity in Teens and Youth. The purpose of the program is to teach
female teens about social and life skills.
